ALLISON BERKOY is a Brooklyn based artist. With mixed physical and electronic media, she creates videos, sculptural installations, interactive environments, and performances between humans and machines. Berkoy received her MFA in Electronic Arts from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an MA in Performance Studies from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and a BS in Theatre from Northwestern University. She was a 2022 Artist Scholar with Harvestworks Art and Technology Center and grantee from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts. Currently, she is is an Artist in Residence with the Integrated Design + Media (IDM) program at New York University, Tandon School of Engineering. She serves as an Assistant Professor of Emerging Media Technology at New York City College of Technology, City University of New York (CUNY), and recently joined the board of the New Media Caucus.
