In Pursuit of a Life Imbued with Magic is a reactive multimedia installation and part of the Rec Room series. A child-sized androgynous figure sits in a chair and appears to sleep. Viewers press a button to awake the figure, who offers one of many questions and maxims before falling back to sleep. "Do I tell you? Do I tell you everything? Do you want to know?" The installation is made from found objects, medical gauze and additional mixed media, projection, sound, and Arduino microcontroller; size variable with figure approximately 16" x 14" x 42"; 2011.
