Tea first exhibited as part of Untitled Apocalypse at the Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC). Two figures sit at a table, their bodies assembled from discarded chair parts and broken ceramics. The figures throw forward each others' images, with projection emanating from holes in the figures' chest and groin areas. Projection also catches in steam emanating from a teapot on the table. Depending on the perspective, viewers see morphing colors, cosmic wonders and cataclysms, and doubled faces of the figures moving in and out of the steam. Headphones hang from a coat rack, mini-amplifiers to hear the otherwise silent conversation.
